My curiosity as an engineer and a desire to work with my hands led me into designing and building cabinets for the quirkiest of spaces. After leaving the corporate world, I honed my skills in the workshop. I love the challenge woodworking presents, but delivering a well designed, high quality product and seeing it redefine a previously "quirky space" is what it's all about!

From an early age, I loved working in the workshop with my Dad. There was something about the smell of fresh-cut wood in his workshop that always made me want to find a project to build. I'm excited to put my creativity to use designing and building cabinets for Quirky Spaces.
Our Process
Taking the time to understand your vision and design your space to be functional and visually appealing is our #1 priority.
1. Initial Consultation
When you're ready to take the first step to redefine your quirky space, contact us for a free consultation and a budgetary estimate.
2. Design & Approval
Once a rough design has been agreed upon and the budgetary estimate is approved, the 3D design drawings are initiated. These 3D drawings use exact measurements and design details, allowing you to visualize the project before a single piece of wood is cut. This is also the time when materials, colors, and hardware are selected. Now is the time to make any changes or tweaks to the design.
3. Build & Management
Once the 3D design is approved, materials are selected and pricing is finalized, materials are ordered and the building begins.
4. Installation
When the build is complete, we will begin the installation. Depending on the complexity and size of the project, this may be anywhere from 1 day to several weeks. During this time, we will respect your space and contain the mess using a variety of methods, including sealing off the installation area, using HEPA-certified dust extractors, and protecting floors and other surfaces with runners and drop clothes.
