Quirky Spaces Reimagined
These dated oak cabinets were updated by building new doors and drawers. The existing oak bases were left in place and reused by filling the grain and sanding to a smooth finish before painting. A new backsplash and countertops completed the transformation at a fraction of the price of replacing them with new cabinets.
Spanning the length of this bathroom was not possible with standard vanities. The below bathroom vanity was custom built to the owner's specifications including a double sink and internal clothes chute with flip-down drawer fronts.
This project hid an existing closet, created a built-in entertainment center, added lockers and discreet shoe storage plus a built-in doghouse!
This very narrow bookcase was used to fill the empty space to the right of a new fireplace. It was built to blend in seamlessly with the existing woodwork and decor giving the appearance that it always had been there.
To free up floor space, a custom loft bed was designed and built to include enough drawer storage to replace the existing dresser, allow for (4) under bed storage bins to be concealed, provide space for hanging clothes plus include a super-secret hidden fort complete with LED lighting.
Custom bookcases turn this otherwise plain wall into a focal point by introducing a contrasting color and providing display shelves.
Utilizing an unused wall, this custom desk spans an 11-foot space providing two work stations along with a hidden printer drawer in the middle. The walnut top and open bookcases define this otherwise unused quirky space.
